The Directors and senior staff are all chartered Engineers committed to providing a quality services. Fully qualified and experienced within timber frame construction we provide an individual and professional service dealing with our Clients on a personal basis.

We offer a flexible approach to design with a 'lightness of touch', designing the engineering out of a structure to produce an economic and practical solution. We look for simple buildable solutions rather than opting for what might be the most obvious but not necessarily the best.

Our services are tailored to our Clients specific requirements and we undertake commissions of all size and complexity. The Practice will undertake responsibility for every phase of a project development from feasibility studies and surveys, through to structural design and detailed timber frame drawings for fabrication and construction.

Through our sister company, BSF Consulting Engineers, we are also able to undertake commissions outside the normal timber frame design including foundation, highway and drainage design enabling a total civil and structural consultancy to be provided.

The Practice is equipped with the latest computer aided design, analysis and drafting technology. We have developed our own timber frame analysis package, which are specifically tailored to each individual Clients needs and can offer full timber frame detailing using Consultec software to give panel and floor cassette drawing, cutting schedules, '3D' isometric drawing and stair designs.
